The Swinging Little Big Band - Terms & Conditions

Right from its opening hand of cool-swinging classics like 'I've Got You Under My Skin' and 'Beyond The Sea', The Swinging Little Big Band is like scotch-on-the-rocks for your ears.
Each song is faithful to the original big band arrangement, but carefully distilled to fit a punchy six-piece group.
As your event warms up, the band responds with a flush of showstoppers by Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Harry Connick Jr and Micheal Buble. Amongst them, though, is the sound that is making The Swinging Little Big Band so sought after: its own, swing arrangements of songs from a different era. Music from The Rolling Stones to The Stone Roses; The Beatles to The Zutons, is shuffled and re-dealt as classic swing, jump-jive and salsa. Even Radiohead gets the Vegas treatment!
The result is a dancefloor packed with every age group and an unforgettable night's entertainment.

We will tailor our set list according to your event, but you can expect to hear classic music made famous by artists like Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole, Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, Harry Connick Jr and Micheal Buble.

The famous 'Rat Pack, re-loaded ' element features jazz, latin and swing interpretations of songs by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Coldplay, Pulp, The Stone Roses, The Fratellis, The Zutons and Radiohead. You can listen to recordings of some of these here.

Terms & Conditions

Please note that full payment (by cash or cheque) is required on the day of performance, or in advance.

In case of cancellation on behalf of the hirer, the deposit is non-refundable. If cancellation is made by the hirer 30-90 days before the event 50% of the agreed fee is payable; 30-14 days before the event 75% of the agreed fee is payable; 1-14 days before the event 100% of agreed fee is payable.

It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the venue has a safe electricity supply in close proximity to the performance area.

The artists will provide a 1,000 watt PA system unless otherwise instructed.

It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the venue has relevant licenses and insurances.

The musicians in the band are all individual members of the Musician’s Union and are covered by Public Liability Insurance. All equipment is PAT tested. Certificates are available on request.

In the unlikely event that the band are unable to perform or complete the performance due to unforeseen circumstances, such as death, illness, weather, travel or terrorist activity the band cannot accept financial liability (under these circumstances the deposit would be refunded).

Hirer to provide suitable refreshments for all musicians (and crew, if applicable) for the duration of their stay at the venue (to include soft drinks and hot meal or buffet)
